hi

here is my attempt at Whirlpool Galaxy  .  i used 249 subframes at 50 second exposure with ISO 3200.   using 200mm F5 Newtonian reflector and DSLR in prime focus.

thanks, my first attempt at this galaxy. shame my stars are not rounder, but i hoped no one sees as they look at the amazing Galaxy!  I cant use guiding at the moment am waiting for some parts to enable me to do that.

very nice considering no guiding being used, i bet you can`t wait to get guiding now to really see what your setup can do

Absolutely. The item I'm waiting for is an adapter to connect the finder scope to a zwo planetary camera for auto guiding. But it's on back order till mid june at the earliest
