Morning walk around Rutland water left camera at home stopped at a gate, 30ft away end of a branch ,a blackcap singing his heart out for ages damn it ,ahhhhh.

We did the Hambleton Peninsula last weekend, that was warm enough. 

I used to get blackcaps regularly in the garden, male and female, but haven't seen one for several years (along with lots of other species that used to be regular visitors).

No ron we walked along barnsdale to whitwell  though Lynton car park & visitors centre at Manton opened this week will be going back when not roasting
