No Dave actually there wasn't we went i think about 2.30 ish  came away at 4 the car park closes at 5 , there was a man and his wife in furthest hide he had a spotting scope set up with his iphone recording , another hide had an old chap looking with spotting scope and a couple with their cameras , and there was a family of 4 casually visiting ,we passed a couple leaving a hide and seen a family of three walking back to car park ,so in my book that was not many there are limits to how many can be in the hides at one time ,some are four shallow hide is six in one hide and four in the other as there is two hides at shallow hide ,there was a few ducks ,a pair of grebes and a lapwing at shallow hide ,across the bay there was a load of little Egrets all together at least 15 ,so if your into birds then its worth a visit ,entry via visitor centre is £6 per adult  .
