July Report

Recommended Posts

Sunny Phil

July was a rather strange month. I lost a lot of viewing and photography due to weather. I also missed some evening opportunities due to early starts at work and then a bad back restricted my use of my telescope.

Despite that, it turned out to be a very good month, with my best-ever comet photos and some meteors from a minor shower, the Epsilon Pegasids. Despite the lack of planetary close-ups, I managed some nice shots of Jupiter’s and Saturn’s moons.
