It holds a healthy colony of Willow Emerald Damselflies which are mainly a southern damselfly and Snakeholme Pit is about as far north as they come. I have now photographed 31 out of 43 odonata. Will try Barbrook Reservoir and Ramsey Reservoir on Big Moor next week perhaps if you fancy a trip.
