I had a set like this on my HEQ5, I don't have a real problem just very stiff to move.

I saw a thread on SGL where they loosened 3 M4 bolts inside the mount to make it less stiff!

Just be careful if upgrading the bolt to a higher tensile strength. If things go pear shaped you want the cheapest bit to fail, stripping the thread on a bolt is much cheaper than stripping the thread on the mount.

Ron do not play with those 3 grub screws.

If you introduce any lateral play into the pivot point your guiding will be shot to pieces.

Give it all a soaking with WD 40 to free it up a bit.

NEQ6 now all WD40'd and cleaned! (It's wonderful stuff!)
