Picture of the Year 2020

To quote myself from last year "As if picking an image each month for POTM wasn't hard enough a picture of the year is even harder cos they are all outstanding images, and there has been some crackers this year". The same applies for 2020, there have been some excellent images and the quality just keeps going up.

At the risk another quote from last year J

To avoid boring everyone, I won't waffle on about each because I did that in the months round up, so here we go:-

Wow, some outstanding images there and I have the difficult job of picking one out that stands out from the rest, errrrrrr, not easy at all.

So after a lot of deliberating and flipping between images the image for POTY is.........

Many congratulations John for an outstanding image.

It both amazes me and impresses me that for what is a relatively small group, we have some truly talented imagers. Not only do you go out and gather the images, (OK, most sit in the warm, but I won't get picky! 😀)  but spend hours at a keyboard shuffling it into a processed image.

Here's to a better 2021 and many more superb images, thank you for sharing them.

Thank you again Phil, I really don't envy you, but that M51 was a winner.
