M27 in Ha and OIII

Had a play at M27 last night to finish off a little project and these are the separate wavelength subs

Ive posted them now because it shows just what the difference between the wavelengths reveal. I was really dissappointed with the Ha because I thought I should have got more of the outer halo but its come through in OIII

The Ha was from last year and is 4 hours the OIII is 2 hours from last night

Both taken through the Meade 127 EDT using the Atik 314l and astronomic type 2 filters

Now all I have to do is figure out how to generate a faux green channel from these as R & B and I will have a go at a false colour shot.

Ive also got to tidy up the artefacts
