Its a better image than i took with the same camera !! 😃

Compare it with mine and you'll see. I was using a 140mm scope as well.

BUT......conditions were pretty dire last night. 

Lots of stuff up in the atmosphere. There was a moon halo when i packed up last night, and i grabbed a quick shot of it with my phone on the way in.

I reckon this could be a contender for "EMS dodgy picture of the month' !! 😁

And the stars of Gemini and Auriga are clearly resolved ! I'm halfway to becoming an imager........😉

Looks pretty much the same to me 😊

It’s funny you should say that about the atmosphere as I was having loads of trouble trying to see Polaris through my polar scope, I literally couldn’t do it. It didn’t even look very bright in the sky (even though it seemed quite clear). Maybe that’s why?
