Very nice Kev ; i'm not familiar with this object.

Does it have a more recognisable name ?

 

Edit : its 'the jellyfish nebula' isn't it ??

Would the bright star be Propus, Eta Gemini ? The famous triple ?

Or am i confusing it with another ?  If it is, i'm guessing M35 is not too far away either.

 

Anyway, its a cracking image. 🙂

Yes, aka Jellyfish Nebula in Gemini. The bright star is indeed Propus.

 

M35 and The Monkey Head Nebula are nearby relatively speaking, but out of this shot.
