Interesting point -- The bright bit in the centre of his body a few years back used to be really red so it has faded a lot over the years.

I wonder if it means the galaxy is slowing down as it moves away from us causing a reduction in the red shift.

.... or just my processing 😉 I did shoot 4hrs of Ha on this but couldn’t get it to stack. There is a line of Ha objects running the length of the galaxy I would love to add if I can get this sorted

I don't thinks so Chris.

You have red in your image so it would be there.

I have seen other recent images of it and they are red free as well
