Nice globby! I'm strictly visual but they can be fun even in small scopes. When you are visually observing a globular you can often start to see points of light inside them as your eye starts to detect individual stars, particularly when utilising averted vision.

There are two globulars in Hercules, M92 is a bit higher than M13.

It's pretty easy to find, not quite as spectacular as M13 though.

Ahh thanks. I hadn't heard of M92, I have a look.

I realised last night that M13 moves above my house after midnight so might give it a go if I'm up late 😊

You're welcome.

M13 reaches transit for me at 04:05 BST.

There are some nice globular clusters in Ophiuchus, I think there's around 20 of them with M10 and M12 the best. M5 in Serpens is a very nice globular cluster too, well worth a look.

Oh maybe I’ve got it wrong then.
I’ll nip outside later and point my Stellarium app at the sky to check. 4.05am is a bit late (even for me!) 😂

You could possibly see it well before then. It won't start to set until after about 04:00.
