I'm getting to know with my new mount.  It is quick to set up, silky smooth and has given me the best views ever...

The Nexus DSC is so easy to use, no more Polar aligning.

With my 102 Frac it seems bit of overkill.

It works beautifully with the 200 Newt., which isn't a problem to mount, though I thought it would be.

There is just about enough tripod clearance.

Awesome piece of kit and to be honest I have never read a bad review about it, everyone says the engineering is top notch and it looks wonderful.

Good choice Doug.

It looks great Doug. Congratulations on your new purchase 👍🏼😀

I've seen them at Astro Shows and have been mightily impressed.

They have certainly engineered it very well, and forward planned for DSC's and eventual motorisation options along the way.

Dual set ups are do-able (the second scope becomes a counterweight !) and they've even designed a fine tuner mounting plate,

so you can tweak one side so both scopes are perfectly aligned on the same object.

Its so nice to see a British designed and built product built to the highest standards as well.

I'm all for buying stuff like this, rather than supporting the Chinese mass market, and would be certainly in the market for one if i didn't already have something similar.

I'm almost a little bit jealous.

The only thing i think they need to look at is tripod clearance with a longer tube.

Maybe its not the issue i think it is, but it would be nice to have an extension option (not a third party one) to cover all bases,

so you could mount something like a 10" Newtonian or a 1200mm focal length refractor.

Maybe they will design something.

The engineering is excellent.  I like using and just looking at it irrespective of any astro going on.

Clearance is just about ok for my OTA.  Once the motors are sorted they may well produce one if there's enough demand.

I decided against dual saddles, partly for cost & partly because I couldn't see me setting up both scopes at the same time.  Perhaps in the future. They reduced my counterweight bar to 20mm so I could use my existing weights, saving a little on the cost too.

Wow, a custom made counterweight bar.

Now that is excellent customer service 🙂
