I’m thinking of buying a 300pds.

At the moment I’m using the 200p and the mount I’m using is a EQ6-R Pro and I’m looking at improving my setup by buying a 300pds I will possibly use the 200p for dark sites or I may even sell it. My question is will I see a big difference in the images that I’m seeing through the 200p using the same Barder eye pieces’s that I’m using now, I’m wanting to see larger and clearer images of the planets and other objects. Just thought I’d ask before I buy the 300pds.

Thanks Paul

I think you'll see a big difference in the image but a small FOV, will you be using a camera?

You will be needing to use a Barlow of at least 3X to get any sort of decent sized image.

I run the same camera and use a 5x along with ROI in Fire Capture.

Do you get pin sharp images?
