Popular Post alis80b Posted June 8, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted June 8, 2021 I spent three nights in Suffolk over the weekend with the sole intention of visiting 'Shingle Street'. A remote dark sky site on the coast that was recommended to me by a friend. The weather was looking dodgy all day on Saturday, but cleared in the evening giving me the change to get a few images. This is the first process of one of my images. I am sure there will be more when I've worked out how to do masks in Photoshop. I couldn't stretch the image as it was messing up the beach so just had a mess around with it a bit in Lightroom. I did a cropped edit of the Milky Way part of the image in photoshop and could pull much more detail from the data. But I like the pretty colours in this edit 😍 Evidently, my 10 year old dodgy tripod wasn't really up to it. Hence the stars not being great.
