Popular Post alis80b Posted June 13, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted June 13, 2021 I wasn't going to bother processing this as I wasn't sure if it was worth it, as it is only 78 seconds of data (and a bit out of focus). I have spent several hours on it and am pleased that I managed to salvage something 😊  Taken on my recent trip to Shingle Street with my Canon Ra and Sigma 24-35mm lens (at 35mm).  6 x 13 second exposures ISO 3200 Stacked in Sequator with 4 dark frames that I took earlier in the night (with a different focus/zoom so don't think they actually helped 🙈).      Clive, BAZ, Chris P. and 4 others 7 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

alis80b Posted June 13, 2021 Author Share Posted June 13, 2021 Thanks 😊  Yes, it was taken at Shingle Street in Suffolk which is really remote and on the coast. Not much light pollution as only a few cottages. I'm not sure what it is on the bottle scale but it was pretty dark.  I could see the Milky Way quite clearly with just my eyes. It was amazing!  Made quite a few rookie mistakes with my images, but I met up with one of my new Astro friends there and she helped me get to grips with things.  I can't wait until I can go to another dark sky site to correct all my mistakes 😊 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
