Popular Post Peter Shah Posted July 4, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted July 4, 2021 I got back from Spain a couple of days ago doing much needed maintenance to the observatory, ended up breaking down on my way back to the ferry so missed the boat and ended up staying a few extra days....was a bit of an experience, in the end I had to fly back and leaving the van there....hopefully it will get shipped back in a couple of weeks....fingers crossed.. Anyway!!..... M16 The Eagle Nebula imaged in SII Ha and OIII with the 17in Planewave and FLI's Kepler 4040 large format Cmos from Spain. Exposures were unguided, times were 4hrs in SII, 1hrs in Ha and 3.7 hrs in OIII all 180s exposures.
