Amazing shots Mick.

Are you using the Macro for these or the the big 600 zoom ?

Every time i try to get near a butterfly they tend to quickly take flight.....

Wonderful to see Mick, brilliantly done. Was that in the same 'ride' through the wood we visited with you lat year?

Thanks Rob and yes the 100mm macro. Some butterflies including the purple emperor allow you to get really close to them, in fact some even hop onto your finger to suck the salts out of your skin.

And yes Dave the same ride we visited. This was seen about 100 yards in from the car park. Look out for horse poo purple emperors love it.
