New Forest Holiday

A few photos from my holiday in the New Forest. The weather was great, sunny every day, in the end I started to hate it and wanted it to rain, it was so draining. Visited so many places, ate and drank way to much but enjoyed every minute of it. Nature wise visited Latchmore Brook, Crockford Stream, Stagbury pond, and Hatchett pond on the hunt for dragonflies. Managed to add another three to my list which now stands at 35 out of 44 UK odonata.

We used to know the New Forest area and Bournemouth quite well

when my sister-in-law lived there, but she's gone now i'm afraid.

St leonards near Ringwood, just camping with the family. Many a childhood memory in the New forest. My Mums ashes are in the forest near Burley, so we try to go down at least every other year, but didn't make it down last year cus COVID, so its been a few years since I've been there now.
