For saying it,s the season for short astronomical darkness there have been lots of posts this month with some fascinating subjects and top notch images.

 

Could I just ask a favour?

In a few posts the links to the images don't work so unfortunately if I cant see the image I can't include it in the round up I'm afraid.

Also for those using Flickr or other off site links, some links come up with pop ups when they are opened. Could I ask if you are posting a link to an image off site and want it including in the round up, can you please make sure it is clean opening thanks as having to accept cookies and terms and conditions every time I open them gets a bit wearing when doing it multiple times during the round up?

There,s 2 images that made me say wow louder than the rest.

 

Peter Shah's M31 and 8472's G63.5 and I must say it wasnt easy choosing as they are both striking images but one has to be chosen so
