Clive Posted September 16, 2021 Share Posted September 16, 2021 Cleared the pond of the excessive amount of Egeria Crispa that's been growing since we introduced it about 7 years ago. The amount removed is probably worth 3 figures at the price when the 5 or 6 bunches were introduced, but it's now banned by the EU as an invasive species. Not half, I wish we had known that before we introduced it! Clive Posted September 17, 2021 Author Share Posted September 17, 2021 It didn't take long for the Heron(s) to come back, 'moved along' 2 so far today (or the same one twice) - hadn't seen one around the pond this year until today (although they used to be daily visitors).
