Nice set of images Dean 👍 What kit were you using?

Thank you very much Dave. There was nothing on TV and this was slightly more interesting...! Oh, a variety of stuff, typically though it was either an old ST80 or the six inch bigger brother of mine with Canon70d dslr on a HEQ5 skyscan or a a recent purchase of a APM80/480 apo piggybacked on my CPC1100.  I forget all the parameters - I have a rough idea and could probably look them up but who has the time!

Nice images @DeanWatson

This last week i've had my first look at Spalding.

I work on the trains and have been doing some route training between Lincoln

and Peterborough, via Sleaford.

Its a really nice route and although i've not been over it in the dark yet, there looks to

be lots of good potential dark sky imaging sites along there, certainly in between Spalding and Sleaford.

Places like Gosberton, Donington and Blotoft that we pass through seem remote and miles away from anywhere.

I reckon they'd be good places to image from ??

Oh yes Rob, absolutely.  I'm just outside Spalding in a place called Cowbit myself with open fields front and back, only houses to the sides and one street lamp out front.  At the back, beyond the fields is the bypass which isn't too bad of an evening/night so I'm really fairly lucky.  While I have two (a 1.25 and a cls clip in) light pollution filters I haven't used one in years.
