Here's my version of this afternoons rainbow which was a spectacular one I thought.

Like Mr Ibbo's but with a slight difference.....

 

Check out  what i think are 'Anticrepuscular rays' ? They are faintly visible in the right half of my photo, converging downwards, towards the north east.

 

We've all seen Crepuscular rays, which are basically sunbeams that you see shining down through broken hazy cloud.

 

The definition of an anticrepuscular ray (also known as 'dark rays' or 'antisolar rays')

 

"a fairly unusual meteorological optical phenomena (similar to crepuscular rays) but appear opposite of the sun in the sky.

Anticrepuscular rays are essentially parallel, but appear to converge towards the anti-solar point, the vanishing point, 

due to a visual illusion from linear perspective"  (Thankyou el goog : i learn something new very day 😀)
