On 2 of the 3 images I took last night, I got 2 parallel lines across just above the centre. I had changed from the Hypercam to my Canon 1100d a couple

of days ago but have never seen this anomaly before. it wasn't on the middle image of M45?? I had the Tri band filter fitted at the end of the CC..

Any idea's?? (It's only part finished!)

Banding on the canon is normal ron I would have thought calibration would sort that to a degree if using darks

I thought it would too David, strange that it only happened on 2 out of 3 images?

I'll do another stack later and see if I can improve it!

Hi RonC
As said, definately Canon banding - I had same on 600D but calibration frames sorted it along with (if you guide) dithering.

All the best
