Feedback wanted on new forum feature

There's a new feature that I'd like to get your feedback on, which changes the way forums with sub-forums are viewed. (Like the Imaging area)

 

Current (with sub forums show separately)

 

 

New (with tick-boxes)

 

 

Under the current format, you can only view topics in one sub-forum at a time. Under the new format, you can tick boxes to show multiple sub-forums at the same time.

 

I've enabled it on the Information & Announcements category, so you can test it in a section that's not used daily, to give me your feedback.

 

Please tell me if you like it or hate it, so I know whether to enable it more globally. Importantly, test it on all devices you use for EMS. It may behave differently on different devices.

 

If enabled across EMS, it would be used for sections such as:

• Information & Announcements
• General Astronomy Discussion
• Local Astronomical Societies & Astronomy Clubs
• Imaging Gallery

That last one would be most impacted due to its high usage.

 

If it's not a change that's welcomed I'll just permanently disable it.

Can't see anything like that on my mobile, certainly no tick boxes.

Had a few clicks and it does work on firefox but like Graham don't think there is much point.
