Much better seeing today and the best formed Cak prom I have seen.

 

Lunt 60mm SS and 178 cam for ha

Tak FS 60 (stopped to 50mm) with Lunt 600 Cak filter and ZWO 178 cam

WL FS 60 (stopped to 50mm) with Herschel wedge and ZWO 178 cam

Cak FS102 capped to 50mm Lunt 600 Cak filter 178 cam

I know Solar doesn't get the accolade it deserves but these are really good.

I don't think people realise just how hard getting good Solar images is.

Not having done it I don't know how difficult it is getting these images but I totally agree with Graham about these being really good, I don't see any better anywhere else.

Really excellent.

 

I agree with Graham about the amount of work you put in, and how good these are. It's a really underappreciated art. How often do you see images like this in Sky At Night? Could you maybe do an article for them, with a set of images, and some detail about the techniques?
