Popular Post Doc Posted June 23, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted June 23, 2022 Went to Potteric Carr today to see the breeding Black Winged Stilts. Saw both parents and 3 off the 4 chicks. This is the most northerly breeding site for these birds so well pleased to see them. We then went down the A1 to Langford Lowfields to see the Great Reed Warbler. We heard it really easy but it didn't show for at least one hour and then put on a show for just 1 minute but I loved every second of it. Hope you enjoy the photo's. Although this bird is a first British tick! Nice one Ron. I've seen them in albufera natural park as well Ron also the fan tailed warbler I bet it was the same place.
