Popular Post philjay
Bodged the SW ed80 flattener reducer on the back of the tak fs60 so I could have a laugh and see if it in anyway works with the 1000d. I expected far more field curvature with this cos the flattener is designed for an f7 not f5.9 but I was pleasantly surprised, there's curvature at the extremities but it's sort of passable. It will work with the smaller chip of my atik 314 I reckon. No flats just darks and bias so it wont stand close scrutiny but not bad for just under an hour at 800 asa Edited August 5 by philjay Clive, Bottletopburly, Sheila and 3 others

I am going to be messing ontut lathe to make up a few bits so I can get the Atik and motor focuser on it now. I reckon with the smaller chip of the atik it may just sit in the sweet spot of the set up. No idea what Fl its operating at but at a guess its around f4-5 ish with the speed of capture and fov +Ibbo
