Recommended Posts

My 9 year old daughter came home from school yesterday with her latest homework project ,create a 3D model of the solar system,

anyone got any ideas ,furthest i've got is a bit of 3/8"dowel ,roll of garden wire some polystyrene balls and a tube of pva glue,

back to the Blue Peter days with John Noakes & Shep

All ideas welcomed ,homework was never this hard back in 1977

Sounds like this could be a nice project. First thing is that you won't be able to do any of it to scale, so make it look pretty with larger coloured balls for larger planets maybe on sticks or wires radiating from the sun. Keep it simple.
