20x180 second lights. 19 darks. ISO800.

Chilly night. Poor run on the Horsehead due to dew but got as much as this;

7x180 second lights. 7 darks. ISO800.

I have some RA slipping problems on the mount. Really need to sort it as the jumps are quite large.

Picture noise/grdient also an issue.

I'm just starting to play with PixInsight and all the tools are there - I just need to get a workflow together [that I can replicate/remember :lol: ].

Regards.

Edited 6/10/12. M51 reprocess.

Paul you shouldn't complain these are very good indeed, love the M51 shot, I just widefield stuff puts the object into perspective.

Cheers guys.

Must admit I prefer the widefield, too. I'll more than likely not bother posting crops in the future. At least not the small'ish targets.

Fingers crossed we get a couple of hours clear tonight before the deluge hits us.

I was out 2100-0430 last night and as well as experiencing niggly problems - I missed a fireball too.

It's been reported as 'space junk'.

Regards.

A couple of nice shots there. The horsehead is on my long list of things to attempt, you've done a nice job on both, the Horsehead is particularly good. :)
