Guest AstronomyShed
Some of you may have either seen or heard of these :- [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0urvtqpDFhg [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9WJMCieNhU These have native drivers built into sharpcap and backyardeos, work great with EQMOD via ascompad, they will drive any of the DC focus motors (NOT Steppers) and if you have such as a jml DC motor I can add the relevant socket. ASCOM compliant. I can only make these up in tens as otherwise it's not economically viable as the boards are custom etched and a couple of the parts are expensive if bought in singles. The last one of the previous ten has just gone, so if anyone wants one I need ten, confirmed orders for them before I start on next batch, so, any questions or if you want one, please add your name to this thread. Cost is £70 per unit.
red dwalf
hi Dion, would these fit onto or could be modded to fit a celestron 8se sct scope ?
Guest AstronomyShed
Well, you need to add your own skywatcher autofocuser motor kit or other DC focuser motor, but many have modded the skywatcher one to fit on sct's and maks etc with very little effort. Tyhey actually come with two brackets and if one of those can't be adapted it's easy enough to make one up.
