You certainly captured plenty of aircraft but I wonder what the 'solitary star' at 7 o'clock near Polaris was?

Assuming not a hot pixel after going for three hours, I've not got the foggiest!

Aren't hot pixels normally red ??

 

A very interesting image, so much to see.

I like the arc that Polaris has left. You need a really long exposure to show it like that.

Your camera must have a good battery.

Thanks Rob, I would imagine hot pixels are red yes but if it's one RGGB array in the sensor and they're all edad in there, maybe that causes it to be white? I really don't know though, and don't particularly want to start getting into doing dark frames for my regular camera 😄 

 

It's a three hour LiveComp shot which is the camera's limit for that mode, and it was on 28% battery by the time it finished, the back screen was on the whole time too. Not bad I guess!
