Astronomer, Reinvented Posted September 2 Share Posted September 2 The main purpose of the session was to capture the moons of Saturn and Jupiter with my DSLR, with the intention of stacking images. I set my DSLR to 300mm focal length, ISO 6400 and 2 seconds exposure, taking 10 images per target. I tried for the difficult target of M15, a globular star cluster in Pegasus. I just caught the central core.
