Starting at midday we have a drink on the hour, every hour to celebrate New Year as it sweeps around the planet. Mrs Glider and young Gliderlet are just off to Tesco to buy the last of the booze. I may sneak a quick one in at 11:30 as a few years back someone thought there was a time zone in the Pacific and a little island combination where technically New Year arrived 30 mins early.
