That's impressive Andy! Same gear as me (200PDS) - QHY5 which is on my to-get list!

Well done mate, background seems ok if a little pushed.

Cheers

Ron

Thanks for the comments.

Processed with DSS and Photoshop.

Gradient Xterminator.

Very happy with the QHY5 picking up very faint stars and not losing them.

Suspecting the noise is to do with using ISO800.

Love this target, i'm so gonna have a go (when I get my stuff :) )

I took your pic and had a play in PS....I can darken the black but the noise comes through alot. Hope you don't mind

Feel free to play.

Like what you've done.

I will play more when the laptop cools down.

Beautiful pic Andy, thanks for sharing. Lovely detail across the whole image. I went for 4 new targets last night (visual) and managed 3/4-guess which one eluded me?! That's right M33! This picture only makes me want to find it more now! If only I had a Dob big enough to see this kind of detail (obviously not in full colour) Ha ha :)

Very nice, Andy.

Like Mick says, it is great to see nebulae belonging to another galaxy.

The bright knot on the left in the spiral arm is nebula NGC 604 which is 1500 light years across!!!
