Well done to everyone - we're slowly building a great place to hang out and chat astro. I still use other forums - but to be honest I'm allways on the prowl to invite new members in our East Mids locality - must've bagged half a dozen so far lol.

But otherwise this is my main site now too :)

Fantastic, like many others, this is my first point of call for astro related chit chat and advice.

I peruse SGL too but I am very new to this so want to look at as much as possible.

I really like how this is a local forum. Has already benefitted me personally by meeting Kim who has been a huge help and motivation. Such a friendly forum with no egocentricity, I like that. Just more learned people wanting to help people less experienced progress without making them feel inferior.

I just want I say thanks to everyone. It makes me (as a total newbie) feel like I can ask questions without feeling stupid or like I am annoying anyone. So cheers to you all :)

That's exactly the forum style I wanted and hopefully it will never change
