Yes I whipped the filter out during the summer making it far more sensitive.

Unfortunately during processing I managed to clip the black point at the two bottom corners.

great image, very nice. As a newbie can you tell me what causes the like interference pattern around the bright star. Its like arcs of banded light like waves???

Do you mean the defraction spikes?

If so they are caused by the spider veins holdingthe secondary mirror in place.
