As you know, we recently changed our web address from eastmidlandsstargazers.co.uk to eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk.

The old domain had a lot of back links, many from websites that belong to our members and astronomical society websites that chose to link to us. The old domain could expire so we'd like to ask anybody who is linking to us to update the web address to the new one. This ensures we continue to get those lovely referrals that helps to grow our member base.

To assist you with this, I've provided some link codes below:

For use on a website or blog:

Just a very quick bump as some of you may have noticed the old eastmidlandsstargazers.co.uk domain is not longer pointing to our website (long story).

 

If you've got links in signatures, on websites, etc., you'll need to update them to the current domain, eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk, or visitors passing through your links will be redirected to a different website.

 

Plus, the back-links help us.

 

Don't forget, if you have an astronomy related link you think we should be linking to (like your own personal astro site) you can add this to our website yourself here: http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/links/ (new links require moderator approval but will be authorised pretty quickly)

Hmm, I noticed the other day as I used to always use .co.uk on phone as it was on most visited history, what about the mugs that say co.uk? :S
