So jumped back in the car and the depot said "sorry mate,you've beaten the driver back.He won't get here 'til about half seven" Agggghhhggh!!! I'm going to the Leicester Astronomy Society meeting at half seven!!!! Oh well, it's cloudy anyway. I know where I am going straight after the meeting though!!! Missus lives in stoke on Trent during the week til the end of January! So just me and my Dob during the week for a couple more weeks yet . The scope is a thing of beauty. I will try and attach a pic of it to this post but haven't done that before so will not hold my breath! Will give you a ring tomoro and you can come have a look and I shall gladly take you up on your offer of helping me collimate it as,even after reading about it I still don't know where to start! I enjoyed the meeting tonight. I will hang around after the next one an introduce myself to a few more people. I just couldn't help myself tonight I had to go and pick it up-sorry! I think it will be clear skies on Thursday and Friday but also be very cold!! Ha ha that's what BBC weather predict actually!
