Jupiter & Europa short animation

Nice one.

Its amazing how many captures are required even for a short animation.

There are only 9 frames, on the night cloud was building up and these were the last usable images.

I used castrator before registax to ensure each image was centralised. Wavelet settings were ok for each as they can be saved but it was hard to get a constant contrast/brightness setting.

Give PIPP animation a try, it does a good job of matching the brightness etc. of each frame.

I used 24 frames for a 1 hour animation that lasted about 12 seconds.

how long between shots did you leave ?

I wasn't planning an animation but I had set an autorun going in firecapture and was just trying to get as many captures in as I could before the weather turned.

It was set up to do 90 seconds captures with a 30 second pause which seems right for the date stamps for 9 frames and just under 20 minutes ( 1st frame wasn't on the autorun ).

Funny, I downloaded PiPP a while ago and never used it. Just redone the animation with it and it works great. Thanks
