Doubt you will be able to see the link unless you have already paid your dark site subs.

Like Martyn said above, the sun coming up has put stop to a few nights up at Belper, the Milky Way was stunning, I lost constellations there were that many stars.

Need to wrap up warm though, it's a good 6-8 degrees colder at the dark site than Belper itself.

Richard,

Are you a Battlefield man.... or you refering to the Astronomy battlefield.

If the former.. I have Battlefield 3 but mainly play on Bad Company 2.  I tend to die alot on BF3.

Sorry, don't know where the Boundry pub is, not a drinker and tend not to socialise in pubs!

I live down the bottom end of South Normanton near the Villager.

Cheers

Thanks I have found Sandyford lane on Google Maps.

I dont know how to use the co-ordinates though. About 2 thirds of the way up the Road if coming from Mansfield there looks to be some building s and an 'off road' on the left and opposite on the right there is a small patch with a Rusty container of somekind. Where in relation to this is the location please?

That was my first choice of a scope, but I couldn't wait that long.

Celestron make the bees knees about the 8, and its going to open up so much

Very very green at this end.
