oldfruit Posted January 6, 2013 Share Posted January 6, 2013 (edited) The learning curve continues, these images are the result of tweaking my normal settings in sharpcap to try and bring out more detail. As has been mentioned before, the seeing was not too bad on this night but was far from perfect. I think that a little more detail is visible in these images, especially the second image, but the tweaking will continue. 8 inch Helios newt, spc900 with sharpcap, approx 1000 frames from 1800 and stacked in registax.
