On Wednesday, 9th January DDAS member Chris Newsome will be giving a Beginner's Guide to the Moon at Long Eaton School, more details of which may be found here. On the evening of Saturday 12th January we will be bringing telescopes along to a Stargazing event at Alvaston Park in Derby - more details. Finally, on Thursday 17th January DDAS member Bob Richardson will be giving a free talk on Starhopping at Burton Library from 7 - 9 pm, more details of which may be found here.
