off to try and find neptune

I am off out into the sticks in about an hour to try and find neptune using venus as a marker. Now where is that tiny blue disc, lol

House hiding neptune, but tracking Uranus & /P2006 T1 Levy via Cartes du Ciel - its flaming faint though. Reckons its m7.2 but I guess its not fully dark yet about 12 deg away from Jupiter

Found it. Needed bin,s 15 x 70 very faint but blue for sure ! Found a great new viewing area right on the beach. Also took a drive past the campsite I have been looking at for the star party, its very dark there.

Hi Dave must be pretty low in the sky now too, sea horizon ??, campsite near Anderby Creek??.

Jupiter & Uranus pretty clear here.

Wasn't that low at 6pm, site is inland a little @ anderby, no street lights no houses no shops, nothing ! Well maybe a little sky glow from skeg, but that can't be helped.
