No need for mirrors even for you there Al! That mount is insanely big! Full goto functionality too. A Baz said though gotta polar align first-can't say that about many sets of bins!

LOL. That is a fantastic bit of kit.

 

Somewhere I saw a website with a home made 12" SCT binocular telescope, it was obviously much more compact and less costly than this one. In the US some companies sell binocular newtonians off the shelf.

I only have a pair of 10 x 50s.

But at least mine are more wide angle than most :P .

They stand me at £30 secondhand.

I'd love to have a look through the Markus Ludes set up.

Amazing that it was made for a private buyer. Some very rich amateurs out there!

Think I've got one of those under the stairs somewhere behind the eyepiece mountain lol :)

You just need another Ethos, then you can use it as a binocular.

Do you reckon they charge extra for the eyepieces????


A couple of Skywatcher 25mm's will do the trick, free of charge!!!
