Massive CME....to Impact Earth!

a look at the Updated ENLIL Spiral from NOAA, as this Mornings Huge Filament Eruption and Associated CME will Impact our Magnetic Field in a Few Days...

The Density is Forecasted to be @ 25 cm3, and a Radial Velocity over 800 km/s....the Impact is also Forecasted to be a Double Peaking Impact with 2 Waves of Particles Heading our Way!

This is Much Stronger than the CME that is Currently Sweeping past Earth...and Much more Dense!

March 17, is when the Brunt of the Impact is Expected...

WOW - thanks for the heads up, cloudy and rainy as hell here so no chance of seeing any pretty colors.

Hours isn't confirmed yet. I hope you'll be ok with the plane.

Here in Quebec, forecasts are promising. I could get clear skies on sunday.

Would be nice to see some pretty colours. Be lucky to even see stars though at the minute.

Thanks for the heads up Fred, if it clears it should be worth looking for.

Our weather looks poor all through next week so far. :(

CME hit us in early march 17 around 6h UTC. (for me it mean UTC -4, so around 2 AM)

I was too tired to stay up that late yesterday and gave up around 12:40 AM :(

Well - it's snowing here so I was rather hoping it would warm everything up - but it didn't lol
