catman161 Posted March 20, 2013 Share Posted March 20, 2013 (edited) After grabbing some jupiter avi's I hooked up the mount to Stellarium and was just having a look at what was on offer and found a cluster on screen that I had not seen before. SO I hit Cntrl + 1 and off the mount went and had the 13mm Ethos in and when I saw the cluster for the first time I really liked it so decided to grab my sketch book. I spent about 20 minutes looking at it. Below is my go at it with a pencil, is not great I had to use the eraser many times as I had trouble getting the scale right. Anyway I had a good time at the eyepiece which is what matters to me. Can't see the drawing very well on my iPhone but will have a look on the laptop later. Nice one. Have a look at some pics with the Rosette around it.
