Anyone know roughly what time we will start gazing(if skies are clear), just wondering when we might be finishing up because my parents would have to pick me up :P

Guest Tweedledum

Mick,

Happy to help with one to ones, also to cover Planetarium sw. I'll burn some copies of Stellarium so that we have some freebies to give out.

Cheers

We now have six talkers which will make a fantastic night of talks.

When you guys do your talks maybe a time limit of no more then 30 minutes each.

Phil I'll set up both the EQ5 and the refractor in front of the members for yourself to do a short talk about these. The problem we have Phil is you are to damn good at talking it puts everyone else in the shade.

Btw do we need any petrol for the genny.

Flattery will get you everywhere :) I have no probs doing talks (part of my job) I could do the lot but folks would get tired of my waffling all night long and its good to have more than one persons input ideas and experience

Ok sounds good to me, my talks will be short because there is a lot to get through in just one evening. Im glad someone else is doing planetarium software because I only know Skymap Pro

Can I suggest the others limit their talks to say 15 - 20 minutes apiece otherwise we will have no time for one to ones which I suspect is the main draw for the evening.

Phil

Sure, 15 -20 mins is good. As you say it's not just the talks, it's the setting up and bits in between as well.
