Taken 19th April using trusty 200p on eq5 with canon 350d as usual.

 

72 of 100 frames shot at 800 iso 1/400ths sec.

 

Phase 63% illumination 63.1%

 

Stacked in Registax 5.1 processed in PS5

 

Happy to have caught both mine and Martyn's favorite features in the one shot :)

I haven't been keeping up with the lunar section.

Wow! That looks really good and sharp. Lovely detail. Looks bang on the money, focus, exposure etc. Really nice capture.

I'm hoping to get an image of the moon on each day of it's cycle, and in some cases more than one. I'm waiting for 2017 for the icing on the cake though which will be the moon at true 0% during a total Solar eclipse over in the states.
