Digital setting circles

I have been looking into a digital setting circle and found what looks like a cracking piece of kit. I know Baz had one of these come with his Dob but in one revolution it was up to about 4 degrees out...definitely useless.

 

With that in mind i'm very weary so have a look at this Nexus device..you buy 10,000 step encoders (an IDOL system) for most dobs (i know they do one for my Dob as there are pics in the gallery).
